Welcome to the internet home of the Northeast Texas Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. We are a local provider of education and certification about concrete production, design, and testing. About the Chapter

The Northeast Texas Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI) was founded in 1964 with Cedric Wilson as its first President. Today the Chapter has about 200 members and is active on both a local and national level. For the last 30 years, the Northeast Texas Chapter (NETX) has earned ACI's highest award, the Outstanding Chapter Award. An overview of the area served by NETX can be viewed on this map.

Education and Certification
ACI NETX conducts training and ACI certification examinations throughout the year.  Interested persons can get class-specific information and sign up for these through this website.

  • ACI Certification through ACI NETX
  • These certifications are designed for technicians with some working knowledge and experience.  Paying for these classes isnot a guarantee for passing.

 Specker :James Bogdan

James Bogdan is Senior Director, Sustainability Initiatives for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA). He tracks market sustainability drivers and prepares NRMCA members to meet new requirements in green building standards such as LEED and Green Globes. Sustainability initiatives include product sustainability and transparency, supply chain sustainability and other environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. James will develop strategies that will support concrete’s position within standards development and manage education and certification programs such as Whole Building Life Cycle Assessment, Environmental Product Declarations, Responsible Sourcing, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Ingredient Disclosure (Health Product Declarations, Cradle to Cradle, GreenScreen, etc.)
